Inspired by the venue of the event (Gran Teatre del Liceu, Barcelona), the short films, animated sequences and trailers shown at the Audi Awards were transformed into "stage images" that create a special backdrop for each category.

Each of the 12 categories of the Audi Awards tells a story about its specific background and evaluation criteria and is introduced with a trailer of about 40 seconds. Illustrative stage images in black and gold reflect the look of the Audi Award - creating a two-dimensional look with a three-dimensional effect.
